# What Does The Warranty Cover?

Active Keys provides coverage for eligible one-time purchases, so you can buy with confidence. This section explains what lifetime coverage includes, when you should contact support, and the situations that are not included.

### ✅ What’s covered

Coverage applies to the original purchase and includes support for situations such as:

-   Activation issues on first use
    
-   Reinstallation or reactivation after reinstalling Windows or formatting the PC
    
-   Moving to a new device (only when the key type supports transfer)
    
-   Installer or download access not working
    
-   Office prompting for the product key again after it was previously activated

### 🔁 Replacement under coverage

A replacement key may be provided at no additional cost when:

-   The key fails after a verified reinstall/reset scenario
    
-   A download link is unavailable, expired, or blocked
    
-   The wrong edition/version was delivered
    

Our goal is to make sure you can complete setup and continue using your purchase as intended.

### ❌ What’s not covered

Coverage does not include:

-   Activation on multiple devices when the purchase is intended for one device at a time
    
-   Compatibility issues on unsupported operating systems or environments
    
-   Hardware failure or operating system corruption unrelated to the product
    
-   Non-transferable keys (such as OEM-type keys) being reused on different hardware
